As part of our 50th celebrations, local historian Oliver Murphy came in for a visit to talk to our KS2 pupils about what our school was like in his time as a pupil. π€©π€
The children had lots of questions for Mr Murphy and were amazed at the differences between school now and then. πβοΈThey discovered that there was definitely no such thing as whiteboards, no school uniform and some children even had to walk miles to school barefoot! π€π―
We would like to thank Oliver and Una for giving up their time to come in and talk to our pupils. They really enjoyed this experience. ππ
