As part of the Ring of Gullion Partnership Programme, P4/5 children have been observing and looking after fish eggs in their classroom. After watching the fish eggs grow over the past number of weeks it was finally time to release them into the wild. This afternoon the excited children went on a bus trip and each pupil got the chance to release their salmon fish into a nearby local river. The children also learned about different types of creatures living in the river. A fantastic trip indeed!
