As part of our ECO Biodiversity topic we had Alan, a Red Kite Officer, from RSPB in school yesterday chatting to the P5-P7 pupils about the Red Kite bird. The children found out lots of interesting facts and information about this rare bird of prey. They finished with a hunting exercise around the school grounds where, children had to pretend they were an actual Red Kite hunting for their prey and items to make their nest.
