Today P5/6 children created a Tornado in a Bottle.
Firstly, they had to get a bottle and fill it three quarters full. Next, they added a few drops of fairy liquid into the bottle and sprinkled in a few pinches of glitter to make it easier to see the tornado. The children put the cap on tightly, turned the bottle upside down, held it by the neck and began to quickly spin it in a circular motion for a few seconds. When you looked inside you could see a mini tornado forming.
